A considerable number of people would probably say they admire the craftsmanship of Germany and Japan, and they are fans of products from the two countries. On one hand, we as Chinese, feel that it is not bad to learn good things from other countries; on the other hand, we are confused with the question lingering on: Is the spirit of craftsman (gōng jiàng jīng shén, 工匠精神) also imported? What is our own understanding of it?
