"We had a fantastic time on the Shanghai trip. The Mandarin Inn were wonderful hosts.

After being welcomed by a traditional lion dance we were treated to a tour of Shanghai, delicious banquets, and a trip to the picturesque water city.

We were very impressed during a visit to a local school that invited us to experience classes including Environment studies, English and art. It was a valuable opportunity for kids to see the similarities and differences between Chinese and Australian schools.

A big highlight for us was being immersed in Chinese culture through small classes (for kids and adults) run by skilled and friendly teachers. We studied language, calligraphy, Kung fu, and music and were challenged to use our knowledge in a very engaging ‘orienteering’ race through the city and in a fun presentation at the end of the week.
The trip has inspired us to want to learn more about all things China and we would highly recommend it to other families.”
