"Sliding tools cannot be driven on public roads, such as scooters.

According to article 36th of the Road Traffic Safety Law of China: According to the road conditions and traffic needs, the road is divided into driveways,non-motorized roads and sidewalks, motor vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, pedestrians to carry out traffic separation. Where motorways, non-driveways and sidewalks are not divided, motor vehicles pass through the middle of the road and non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians pass on both sides of the road.

According to article 57th of the Road Traffic Safety Law of China: Driving anon-motorized vehicle on the road shall be subject to the requirements relating to traffic safety. Non-motorized vehicles shall be driven in non-motorized lanes. On roads without non-motorized lanes, the right side of the road shall be used."

"According to the road traffic safety law of our country and the relevant provisions of the measures for the administration of non-motorized vehicles in Shanghai. Sliding tools (such as electric balance cars and scooters) cannot be driven on non-motorized lands and sail into motorways. It can only be used in places such as closed neighborhood roads and indoor venues. If you use the sliding tool in the driveway, you’ll have to pay a ¥50 fine. If you use the sliding tool in non-motorized roads, you’ll have to pay a ¥20 fine. "

"Scooters and balance cars cannot be on the road or licensed.Motorcycles need to register a license, within 15 days from the date of purchase, apply for license plate and registration in the traffic administrative department of the public security organ.
